Only 15.3 pct Chinese online shoppers try cross-border shopping: iResearch
BEIJING, Apr. 20 (Xinhua) -- According to a report by market researcher iResearch, only 15.3 percent Chinese online shoppers tried cross-border shopping in 2014.
The report said most online shoppers in China were still unfamiliar with cross-border online shopping, which required online shoppers higher purchasing and language skills.
Meanwhile, logistics also hindered the development of cross-border online shopping in China, as only 7.8 percent buyers could receive the goods within one week.
However, the report said the business would get further development thanks to the preferences of Chinese online shoppers on the quality and brands of overseas goods. (Edited by Li Xiaoyu, Lixy@xinhua.org)
