State Grid to enhance cross-border electricity transmission
BEIJING, Apr. 9 (Xinhua) -- State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC), China's top power distributor, will enhance cooperation with Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Pakistan and other surrounding countries to build cross-border electricity transmission routes, the company announced on Thursday on its website.
State Grid currently operates 10 cross-country electricity transmission routes. The route from the far east region of Russia has transmitted over 14 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity to China. (Edited by Huang Xiaolan, firstname.lastname@example.org)
