China starts new round of copyrights protection
BEIJING, Apr. 9 (Xinhua) -- China will start a new round of initiative to protect copyrights, a move expected to benefit domestic software developing firms.
The General Office of the State Council published the latest policy on copyrights protection on Thursday, requesting computer manufacturers to install legitimate operating systems before sale.
In addition, the government bulk purchase of legitimate software will be expanded to include 15 provinces, regions and cities. (Edited by Huang Xiaolan, email@example.com)
