Guidelines for 'Made in China 2025' emphasize innovation, minister
BEIJING, Mar. 10 (Xinhua) -- China put forward formulation of guidelines for 'Made in China 2025' in its government report this year to promote development of the manufacturing industry.
Miao Wei, minister of industry and information technology, said in a recent interview with China National Radio that it will take about 30 years for China to transform from a big manufacturing country to a strong manufacturing country. 'Made in China 2025' will outline an action plan for the first 10 years and will also form roadmap and schedule for the manufacturing development in the following 20 years, he added.
The guidelines mainly cover five aspects including innovation-driven development, quality as a priority, green development, structural optimization and talent orientation. (Edited by Liu Xiaoyun, firstname.lastname@example.org)
