China to issue action plan on water pollution control in Dec, report
BEIJING, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) - China is expected to unveil an action plan on water pollution control in December, the Shanghai Securities News reported on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the guidance for third-party environmental pollution governance drafted by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) is also projected to come out this month, said the report.
Industry insiders said the release of the two documents will bring opportunities for the water pollution treatment market.
The Ministry of Finance and NDRC plan to raise 50 billion yuan to set up a national environmental protection fund which can offer preferential loans to third-party pollution treatment enterprises or environmental protection enterprises, said Luo Jianhua, Secretary General of the China Environment Chamber of Commerce.
