Chalco Guizhou branch: maiba aluminum mine starts full production
BEIJING, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- Chalco Guizhou branch in southwest China's Guizhou province said on Friday that its maiba aluminum mine project with an annual capacity of 500,000 metric tons (tonnes) has recently started full production.
The project's operation will significantly increase the company's homegrown ores and reduce costs of alumina production, says the branch.
Chalco Guizhou branch is a subsidiary of Aluminum Corp. of China Ltd (Chalco, 601600.SH; ACH.NYSE; 02600.HK), the listed arm of Aluminum Corp. of China (Chinalco), China's top producer of aluminum. (Edited by Hu Pingchao, firstname.lastname@example.org)
